Well done to all the lads who competed in the Lacey Cup on Sunday last.  Pete Landy and J.P. O’Connell took part for the umpteenth time, while Tom Ryall showed great staying power over the course.  Special mention must go to our two debutants however as Aidan Blackwell and John Kelly both acquitted themselves very well.  John showed he is in real good form by being the first Tralee C.C. man home.  Next up is the Cycling Pursuits Cup this coming weekend, and if the course is anything like last year……….(gulp) go out there lads, and enjoy ye’reselves, cos its a doozey.

Well done to Tralee B.C. for a great race as usual.  The record turnout is no surprise, given the number of people now on bikes, the very mild winter which allowed for plenty of training, and the fact that this, the first race of the year, is always a focal point for the local racing fraternity.  Congratulations to Sean Lacey and Barry Horgan who were the big winners on the day.  Finally, many thanks to Pat O’Hara (P.R.O. of Tralee B.C.) for the photographs.
